The Dreadlord vowed to dismantle Archimonde's soldiers to the last demon standing, using the very same tactics that ensured the complete eradication of the population on Manaatar. - While the whole Brigade originally followed the Dreadlord's orders, his key element and top strategist Tarlaw decided to defect alongside a small number of the Brigade's unit. - Using more exhausting and time-consuming strategies, Varinias was eventually defeated by Tarlaw's cunning genius and patience. - While Varinias managed to escape his fate, most of the treacherous demons were executed by Tarlaw's loyalists or they simply converted back to the Legion.
