Name: Engineer Kurgran
Age: 383
Race: Gan’arg
Appearance: Size Comparison. Kurgran dons the general rags and blacksmith apron of his people, his such being a dirty off-white coloring, such hiding his grotesque and scarred face from a technical mishap with an explosive device. He keeps a pack full of various odds and ends on his back. The key feature of this Gan’arg is the massive felsteel mechanical gauntlet, such giving off whirring noises here and there. He stands at a solid 5’3” he comes to about chest level on most humanoids. His body is muscular from years of hard labor and service to the Legion.
Backstory: Kurgran’s story is a simple one of work and toil within the Legion’s ranks, having grown into his position as Engineer from a lowly laborer. Day in and day out Kurgran worked the fields with his laboring brethren to salvage parts from damaged machinery, scraping by with a most pitiful existence, even by normal standards of the word. Life didn’t much change for the Gan’arg Laborers, one was often brought into this lot from creation, and it never changed.
Though for Kurgran, it did. He had been ambitious since inception, and this was shown fully as he had kept parts at bay, hidden from the overseers. And through these parts, Kurgran crafted his own mechanical gauntlet, much akin to those of the engineers, yet his seemed to fuel itself purely off the world around it, fel-magic powered his gauntlet, draining the life of things around him, reaping ten of his brethren’s lives. By this time, the adventurers had made it onto the broken world of Outland, where Kurgran and his brethren had existed, only through their wanton murdering of the Gan’arg forces did Kurgran survive, abolished of his transgression as a thief, and appointed the rank of Engineer to assist with the needed forces to return home.
Kurgran’s rank didn’t just end there however, being elevated to the rank of Engineer came with access to furthering his latent technological know-how, and he adjusted his gauntlet, powering it off an internal fel crystal. His time was short on Outland before the Warp-Tinkers created a gate to get them off the dying planet, returning them home where Kurgran furiously worked on furthering his capabilities, studying under the Technomancers, learning how to meld fel and machinery, beginning down the path to creating Fel Reavers, and other such diabolical machinations.
He's waiting with bated breath to return to the task of harrying those not of the Legion, a tad disappointed they've turned to using Wyrmtongue for everything these days it seems.
Abilities: Kurgran is impressive with engineering, as with his race’s stereotype, but it goes further with this Gan’arg specifically, for he seems to soak up knowledge easily and readily, concocting odd creations as if he were some demonic goblin. With his knowledge of magic being limited to engineering uses, he has picked up how to make certain fel-infused creations, such as fel cannons, rifles, explosives, and the like in mass quantities. But his abilities are dominant in the field when he has his assistants, ten laborers held under his heel that salvage parts for him to continue his work.
