Name:
Inath Highshard
Age:
510~ (he stopped keeping track)
Race:
Sin'dorei
Appearance:
The hair carried a lighter brown tone, and like most elves seem to have - Inath had long hair which was often tied up into a pony tail, reaching far down the spine. Some hair remained falling down the sides of the front of the head which he made into thin braids when he felt he had the time to set it up that way. (viking inspired) His overall figure was skinny, though this was hidden to some extent by wearing a robe. The face carried some fair elven features which could be considered handsome however among the elven people it was probably just average. His skin seemed to carry a slightly darker tone a minor side effect from the usage of Fel, slowly turning his skin towards a demonic color. Though it would be mistaken as a result by the sun for now. His eyes glowed brightly with Fel like any Sin'dorei, though perhaps a bit brighter than some? Since he was a thin (skinny) person, he might seem a bit taller than he actually was, but he was merely average in that regard.

Backstory:
Inath was a very curious person when growing up, he always asked his parents to tell him various stories and tales of the world. Some of them contained foul demonic beings of different kinds, mainly as the villain of the story. However the details of these mysterious beingswas often left unexplained which annoyed him greatly. He took it upon himself to seek out the answers that his parents could not provide, did they even exist? where did they come from? are they as cruel and sadistic as in the tales? On a trip to Silvermoon he went by various book stores but found nothing. If the knowledge existed it was not available to the public.
Disappointed he returned and continued his studies to become a mage. He was not too potent at the art but even the weaker magi could earn a fair bit of gold, but it was not enough for him and his pride as one of the supreme Sin'dorei Race. (high elf at the time) The most powerful form of arcane seemed very appealing to him because of this, though his teacher would not teach it of course. It took years (and a minor fortune) for him to get his hands on tomes that explained how to use the art to some extent. He practiced his newfound powers in secret, naively thinking he could overcome the negative effects, he was of a proud and naive kin after all. While he improved greatly over the years at a rather quick pace since he already had experience with arcane though in a non-corrupted form, the progress was not as fast as he had naively hoped, mainly due not having a mentor and the tomes he had were limiting. Which drove him to the only Fel User he knew of - the Warlocks where he sought apprenticeship, it was also appealing since he would finally get an answer to the questions he had about demons when he was younger.
Eventually he became a full fledged Warlock, but with it came disgust from most, he avoided towns and cities as much as he could. He lived as an outsider practicing as well as he could on his own while meeting up with some of his newfound Warlocks 'buddies'occasionally to discuses the art and give each other advice to gain power together.
When the third war came to Azeroth, Inath was already a few hundred years old and felt like progress had become slower as breakthroughs in the Warlock arts became more and more rare.
The Burning Legion claimed to be able to empower any soul who proved worthy to their cause, as such Inath came to them intending to deceive the Legion, take the power and then return.
However, once empowered with Fel running through his veins his intentions had changed. He had gained more power than he had before, and could gain even more by staying.
He avoided being on the front lines, claiming his talents would lie elsewhere. Which was true to some extent but the main reason was that once he was seen by the Legion's side he would have trouble getting into cities and towns.
Instead he resided in the cities of the enemy (Kal'dorei), using the assistance of a contracted Sayaad to kill or seduce lowers ranking officers, using her invisibility to sneak poison into food the day before a predicted battle. Of course, a Sin'dorei could not freely walk in Alliance cities, however his trusted Sayaad covered him with an Illusion to make that possible, at least for a short time, once people began to look for infiltrators it became troublesome and they had to leave and go to another location. While in truth the Sayaad did most of the work, Inath was the one pulling the strings and served that way all the way to the end of the Third war.
A few years later the Dark Portal was re-opened and Inath passed through it, pretending to be allied to the Horde and serving as one of their Warlocks. His true intentions were to serve the Legion though, Illidan had taken Outland from the Legion and Inath intended to help the forces of Horde and Alliance succeed in doing so. But not forgetting that they were his enemy and sabotaged what he could along they way, it is surprising what a minor spark of felfire can accomplish in the middle of a camp when most are asleep.
Nor much later the Lich King had moved against the world, and it was already known he had betrayed the Legion. Inath growed bored of sabotaging however, seeing as the return of the Legion seemed to never happen. He assisted in making the Horde get a foothold on Northrend, leaving them to deal with the deserter (the Lich King). He returned back to Azeroth where he resumed his studies about Fel which he did for almost ten years, continuously losing faith in the hope of the Legion ever returning. But eventually - it did happen, the Legion is now invading once more, and Inath is returning to serve once more.
Abilities:
Inath knows a few spells of each of the Warlock 'specializations', however he can only be considered an apprentice (at best) at each one but the demonology one.
While he is a potent summoner he does not tend to summon greater demons, although he is capable of enslaving multiple demons at the same time, though for how long is uncertain. His battle style tends to be sending in an enslaved demon to do the fighting while he stands back flinging minor curses at the opponent to support mentioned demon. Without a demon by his side - he is pretty useless.
